An Update On This Mess With EAE

A short update on how the situation is developing for you to understand why you should stay away as far as possible from these guys.   So a couple of months have passed and my lawyer is still just trying to get in contact with the school. But yeah, you've guessed it... They wouldn't even answer any emails. I guess being sued has become a bit of a habit. Emails to the department heads, the principle, secretary... none of it makes any difference. I have received so much great feedback from you guys of which I am extremely grateful. Obviously, I am here to explain why these guys are crooks and it helps big time to hear all of your support, so many thanks! Many of you have contacted me as well after reading this blog! We are up to over 500 views of my posts and am pushing to get over 1000. A hefty percentage of those have contacted me privately to see what's up and/or are scared cause they only read this blog after they'd enrolled. My friends, I am here for you and will do ...

How EAE Recruits (1/3)

Being able to sell   a great story is not a given. You must understand how the human mind works, respond to the reactions you get and push them to believe every word coming out of your mouth. I must admit, it is an art being able to sell a dream. EAE has those professionals working for them selling you your dream. Anything you wish to believe and making you go out of your way to want to get in. To be a part of their great program focusing on the practical rather than theoretical. Career advisors helping you to find that dream job, even before you arrive! Helping you land the best internship you could ever imagine, since they have so many connections, right? They look for motivated, professional and you guessed it... naïve enough people  believing all their wonderful fairytales. Sounds like you'd miss out on a lot of you wouldn't join.  On top of that are the financial promises. You receive a quote with promised discounts only the first couple of students receive. Later in...

Don't Let Them Take You For A Ride (3/3)

By now I'm sure you have a pretty good idea of how EAE operates. I have promised you more and here we are. I can hear you think ''well there must be something good about EAE, why else would you pay over 10k for an education?''. Good thinking, I'd say and EAE will have tried to sell you on their career talks and/or entrepreneurial pathway by now (if you've taken the first steps into admission). Let's elaborate on that. Career Days / Career Talks / Career Advisors  Ok. I'm sorry for disillusioning you already, but this is all a whole pile of warm horse sh*t. A job before you arrive to Spain set up by one of the career advisors? Forget about it. Spoken to them, tried to get a job myself (without needing a visa since I am a EU-citizen), they replied literally ''until you have started the year, there is nothing we can do for you''. Great!  ''Incredible multi-nationals recruiting for interns at there firms in all areas.'', ...

The Online Classes At EAE (2/3)

Let us begin with some context  My girlfriend and I got to Spain and started working on her visa immediately (she is Argentinian, I am Belgian). She needed a visa, I did not since I am an EU-citizen. The school had sent paperwork to apply for the visa, with info on where to go, what documents you needed and how the process worked. Awesome, you might say however the info they provided not up-to-date, the website they directed us to was incorrect and the offices with required paperwork was wrong and incomplete. Perfect first impression, wouldn't you agree? After a couple of frustrating days, we finally found what to do and went all in. Truth be told, we arrived in COVID times so we cut them some slack as this is new for everybody. After a 2-week waiting period, we had gotten all the required paperwork to apply only to find out Spain had closed the visa processing offices due to COVID. Meaning the my girlfriend' tourist visa would expire and she'd had to leave the EU for 6 mon...
