Don't Let Them Take You For A Ride (3/3)

By now I'm sure you have a pretty good idea of how EAE operates. I have promised you more and here we are. I can hear you think ''well there must be something good about EAE, why else would you pay over 10k for an education?''. Good thinking, I'd say and EAE will have tried to sell you on their career talks and/or entrepreneurial pathway by now (if you've taken the first steps into admission). Let's elaborate on that.

Career Days / Career Talks / Career Advisors

Ok. I'm sorry for disillusioning you already, but this is all a whole pile of warm horse sh*t. A job before you arrive to Spain set up by one of the career advisors? Forget about it. Spoken to them, tried to get a job myself (without needing a visa since I am a EU-citizen), they replied literally ''until you have started the year, there is nothing we can do for you''. Great!

''Incredible multi-nationals recruiting for interns at there firms in all areas.'', ''Many career talks and company presentations informing you what it takes to join their fantastic firm''. All true. But, 85% of these talks are only in Spanish and the companies like Johnson & Johnson, Amazon, Novartis, EY, pretty much all the big ones only recruit for Spain. Oh yeah, and you need to speak fluent Spanish. Sorry.

But then there still is the entrepreneur pathway, no?!?!?!

Yes, there is. That would be the other option. And frankly, probably your best bet. Great team behind it. But yes. Again. The invite fantastic speakers. They have a wonderful program laid out for you! From the bare basics, to the idea, going on to creating, pushing, making it work and finally potentially present it to a jury. All stages are designed to help you develop yourself as an entrepreneur. FINALLY! Something that will work! You'd think...

All steps are worked out for you on a website/platform. Everyone is given their own personal log-in so can you each follow your steps in your own pace. SO where is the catch? Well as with everything else so far.. It's all in Spanish. (Kicking myself in the head, AGAIN). Some titles are translated.

Oh yes, and did I forget to mention that all those fantastic speakers don't know a word of English either? :)

How is it possible that when you pursue an international master, supposedly taught in English, the information/videos/opportunities you receive from both the institution and your TEACHERS is in Spanish? Is that just me or is that the absolute definition of amateurism?

How is it that they can sell you a fantastic story, deliver absolutely 0 of what they'd promised, receive complain after complain after complain and still do not give a damn about what a school should be giving most damns about. Their students.

No words come to mind anymore. I am speechless. Many students from ALL programs have been depressed during their time at EAE because of EAE. No help. Nothing.

I do not wish anyone to go through this so please... Stay away... For your own good.
